M is for Millie

Oh, I'm sorry. Did I give you the impression that I was childless? I lied.

Meet Millie.
Doesn't she belong on the cover of a Cabela's catalog? I think so too!

She is spoiled rotten, wears on my last nerve, and as of yesterday drains not only my bank account but my savings as well.

Long story short: This precious angel baby swallowed almost 300 vitamins, after all night at the doggie ER, many, many, many hours spent crying later, a very fat sum of money, and all day today at our real vet -still don't have her back yet, tear- my vet seems to be very optimistic. Said I "dodged a bullet" -second time a doctor a has told me that in the last 3 months...another post, another time- (Oh my stars, I am thankful to have someone watching over me these days!)

After this whole ordeal, I am especially thankful to have her in my life. She really is like, my best friend.

She loves squirrels (and birds)

Love's her "chuck it" balls (invest in a Chuck It...clearly they wear a pup out!)

She loves getting dressed up...
in my flower headbands...and bows...and not so much in snuggies...

She love's a good mud pit...
GUILTY!

Love's the water...

Loves her besties...

Love's getting into things she shouldn't (as the above ER story indicates)...

And loves her mama...

She was the prettiest, sweetest puppy...

Looks just like these little cuties (which happen to be at the top of my Christmas Wish List for that reason...Santa, are you listening??)

And makes me so happy to come home every day. Can you tell I love this pup? I do.

I can't fathom loving anything more y'all. What's going to happen to my heart when I actually have a real, live, human, baby? It just might explode.
