prep

Love it. Always have, always will.

Where on earth can I find these shorts? Must have.

Oh, my poor children. This will be them for sure. Just as soon as I get a Tech hat on him, that little gentleman will be ready for tailgate! COMPLETE CUTENESS!

And is it just me or do nautical and preppy go together? I def think they do! Summer gets me full swing into preppier clothes and has me wishing I was constantly here...

and what I would give for Travis to buy me this pink boat...
via

Wonder how mad he'd be if I painted his pink...
Do I dare? I think if I have any hopes of marrying him the answer is sadly no.

Speaking of boats, these days I'm constantly dreaming of spending hours with T and his favorite hobby. And I've been begging him to take me to do this:
Come on people, have you seen "A River Runs Through It"? Fly fishing is hott.

On a different fishing note, I'm loving this dress T got me last weekend.

I think I'll wear it fly fishing with my thigh high wade boots! Just perf! ha

These two items are on the top of my prepp-ish wish list!

I'll be needing this just as soon as I buy an awesome camera!

THIS DOOR! AH-maze.

And let's not forget everyone's favorite Preppy.

So ladies...

FIVE MONTHS!

This is me....
in FIVE MONTHS!!! Where is time going?!

I am BIG FAT loving that....I'M GETTING MARRIED!! Whoa!
Still trying to wrap my little mind around that!

I am loving that it's Wednesday already! SO FREAKIN' HAPPY!

I am loving that I've been crossing things off my wedding to do list left and right......flowers, hotels, buses, photographer, a solid decor plan, bridesmaids dress (I think!)

I am not loving however, the wait for my dress to come in!
(Especially since I've had a small panic about possibly choosing the wrong dress after looking back at pics of another dress I tired on and loved.  Ladies...don't do this.  Just delete the pics! I'm sure I made the right choice but I'm just ready to have that baby in my hands so I can make for positive-certain-sure I did!)

I am seriously loving the pics Travis and I took on Saturday!

I am loving Weight Watchers! Just started about a week ago and it's great!
I would just love to not look like a lard in that dress come October!

I WISH, however, I was loving the freakin' gym!

I am loving the thought of road tripping it to FLORABAMA for my bachelorette party in July! Casey is doing all the planning and there's no doubt it'll be spectacular! Love my MOH!

I am loving my precious flower girls.

I am loving what's on me and T's agenda for this weekend!
We're taking professional engagement pics on Sunday. WOO!
And we're going to Gary Chapman's "A Growing Marriage" seminar!
Are you a fan? I for sure am! These are a few of his books I'm working on. Seriously, if nothing else just do this assessment.  Not only am I just plain fascinated with his ideas on love (5 Love Languages) but I am super excited about doing this with T who has not once complained even though it'll probably be a perfect Saturday for fishing AND the seminar is in College Station, one of our most hated towns (sorry aggies!) He's a loyal one that boy! Reason number 55673 why I love him.

I am still loving this house and wishing and praying it will be mine.

And I'm loving all these pins to add even more curb appeal to this already adorable home.

And I'm loving these sweet girls who will not only add massive amounts of curb appeal sitting sweet on that porch but who will also be sisters soon!

And very random side note...while searching for something to wear today I pulled out these bad boys circa 1999. White Abercrombie and Fitch pants. They were my favorite for evs and they still look just as good as the day I bought them.  Hats off to A&F. I'm def sporting them today. So shame in my game.

I'm loving that (and wondering how on earth) they still fit! Kind of makes me want to peek into Abercrombie, I used to be obsessed with their jeans!

Happy Wednesday!

I'm SO loving...

that I get to marry this sexy beast in 184 days (but who's counting?)

TOTALLY LOVING that we'll be here in 186 days…

I'm loving that today in my Friday in Kinder! Tomorrow we'll be on our field trip and I just get to sit back and enjoy.  Literally.  We're seeing this play at the Main Street Theater in Houston
and I am seriously SO excited! My awesome chaperone's are “in charge”! Win, win!

Houston mamas, check out Main Street Theater! It's such a fun experience! Your kids will love it and so will you!

I'm loving BABYLIPS…I’ve seriously purchased a new shade everyday for the last 3 days.  Obsessed.

I'm loving that WHITE PANTS will be welcomed back into my life starting….now!
so chic

I'm loving the precious way my kinder babes say things.
ar-grew-ing = arguing
re-dic-lee-lus = ridiculous

Also loving all the dresses Jamie in loving!  May have to make my first ModCloth purchase, this dress is def in my basket!

Also loving these, as always...
but DEF NOT loving that the ones I bought at the grocery store (non-Cuties) don't even hold a flame to the real deal. Grr. Can only find these at Target.  Targ for the win as usual.

BELIZE it or not

For a solid 4 days I have done nothing but daydream about our honeymoon.

We have always been super excited about this part of planning a wedding (duh, who isn't?) Travis has always said he wanted to go someplace we can go with our family on a semi regular basis. I love that idea!  I was set on going somewhere neither of us had ever been before.  Travis has been many amazing places but he has never been to...

BELIZE!

Ambergris Caye to be exact.

T's parents love Belize, so much in fact his dad wants to buy a banana plantation (he's obsessed with fruit...) there when he retires. How perf!! If grandma and grandpa are freakin living (part time) in paradise we'll have all the more reason to go!

In 193 days we will be flying into Belize City, taking a little dinker plane to San Pedro and jumping on a boat to take us to this secluded little piece of heaven.

I.CAN.NOT.WAIT.

AHHHH....look at those cute houses! It's simple, secluded, family run, colorful and so very perfect for me and T!

Obviously pinterest has only added to my excitement!
Check it:
The famous Blue Hole. Beautiful. (and a little scary)

Mayan ruins. Gotta throw some history into the trip for Trav.

Cave tubing is DEF on our to-do list!

Apparently, these little guys hang around under the pier lights at the resort at night.  I hope that's true...they're my fav sea animals!

(google, not pinterest image)
T wants this to be him and not going to lie, I kind of want it to be me too!

193 days!

These chairs at the resort have out names written all over them!

See you soon, Ambergris Caye!! See you soon!

homeowner!!

Dreaming about it anyway!

This past week I spent some time with T in Carrizo and Uvalde...I fell in love with a house. Hard.  I can't stop thinking about it and I haven't even seen it in real life, just online!

Just take a look...

ADORBS right??? I'm dying!

I can picture me, Mill, and Travler (Trav's sweet pup I can't wait to adopt) sitting on that porch waiting for T to get home from work every afternoon.  (hear that T, I would just adore if you were home frm work say, around 4? Can you make that happen?)

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this house.

Only problem is...I we decided about 2 months ago we should wait until later in the summer to buy. Travis was all about buying something right away so I could move out there as soon as my school years done. I on the other hand didn't see the point to rush until closer to the wedding...well, now he agrees we should wait and he's not quite budging yet. Big fat bummer.

(In reality, now is not the best time to be buying a house. We don't have a free weekend until July and we don't even have out wedding showers/bach parties planned yet. NO TIME. it would be a little silly to buy a house and just let it go unlived in for months until we can get in and make it a home....BUUUUTT...I WANT IT NOW!!!)

Still working on him but in the meantime I have been flooding my pinterest boards with all things "first home". Mainly simple fixes that can quickly update an older home.

Want to see them all? You can follow me here. But these are some faves as of late...

Love the window shelf, open cabinets, and butcher block counters

This mix of new/old and light/dark is perfect!

I'm all about neutrals but I an digging this subtle splash of color.

So charming and easy!

Everytime I run across this redo I die...not only is a perfect way to disquise those horrible giant mirrors but it looks so so amazing.  Possibly my favorite before and after of all pinterest time!

Amazing idea! So pretty and neat!

Now tell me that door would not be perf on that adorable house??
Ha...a girl can dream right - don't think T will go for it in a million years.

And this monogram is beyond perfect for a newleywed couples door...even if the door's not pink!

AND just how exciting is this?? We will be married and living in our home just in time for the best time of the year....pumpkin (and football!) season! All part of the plan! You can bet your bottom dollar my porch will be covered in pumpkins!

I am just praying this house is still on the market in the next few months...it needs to be ours. Seriously.

Go link up with Michelle and/or Jamie so I can see all the love you're sharing!
